Name Quick Menu

Whenever you need to use a Name, Merlin will present to you a Data Entry Box such as the one shown here for you to enter the Name Id into. The example here is looking for the Name Id of the Seller on a Sale Take On page.

Now obviously you don't remember the Name Id's of all the Names in your database.

To find a Name to use from your database (if it exists), start entering some letters from the Last Name followed by a comma and then some letters from the First Name.

If the Name you are looking for exists in your Database then up to ten records will display below the Data Entry Box and you simply need to mouse down and click on the Name you want to use.

Merlin will then select this Name for you and default into the Data Entry Box the Name Id and return the Full Name to the right.

Here you can see we have selected Name Id 393367 for Mr John Smith.
